Hi Everyone, and thank you for visiting our site! The Lawrence County Public Library is proud to serve the citizens of
Lawrence County, Alabama and its visitors. We strive to meet the information needs of all of our patrons. With a collection of over 35,000 books,
ten public access computers, 1,500 videos, 1,000 DVDs, wireless Internet access, and 700 audio tapes, we surely have something for everyone at The Lawrence County Public Library! It is our hope that you will find our family friendly library a place that you want to visit again and again. If I can ever

News and Holiday Hours

Thank you to everyone who attended our 2nd annual Iron Bowl Bash!!! With Walter Lewis and Eli Gold representing Alabama and Ben Leard and Dr. Rob Pate representing Auburn, a great time was had by all! And, it looks like we may have raised $2500.00, which means that Modern Woodmen of American will match $2500.00, for a total of $5000.00!! That's Great!!!! Holiday Hours:

The library will close at 5:00 pm on Thursday, December 6, 2007 for our Christmas Party.

We will close at 3:00 pm on Friday, December 21, 2007 and will reopen on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 9:00 am.

Otherwise we will be open our normal business hours, which are 9-6 Monday-Thursday, 9-5 on Friday, and 10-2 on Saturday.
